“The Broken Pot”

In a small village, a water bearer had two large pots. Each day, he carried them on a pole across his shoulders from the stream to his master’s house. One pot was perfect—strong and whole. The other had a small crack and leaked water all the way home.

For two years, the water bearer delivered only one and a half pots of water. The cracked pot felt ashamed. One day, it spoke: “I’m so sorry. I leak water and fail you.”

The water bearer smiled gently. “Did you notice the flowers on your side of the path and not on the other? I planted seeds there, and you’ve been watering them every day without knowing. Because of you, I bring home more than water—I bring beauty.”

Moral: We all have cracks, but through them, we can pour out beauty, kindness, and purpose. Your flaws don’t define your worth—they shape your unique contribution to the world.
